Overview
Ask Z can work with files and larger pieces of context directly inside a conversation. You can upload files, paste large blocks of text, review previews, and manage shared files from AI Studio > Library. Use files when Ask Z needs to summarize a document, inspect an image, compare information, draft from source material, or keep supporting context attached to the conversation.Add a File to Ask Z
- Open Ask Z.
- Click the attachment button in the prompt area.
- Choose the file you want to upload.
- Wait for the upload progress to finish.
- Add any instructions Ask Z should follow.
- Send the message.
Paste Files or Large Text
Ask Z also supports pasted context:- Paste a copied file into the prompt area when your browser supports file paste.
- Paste a large block of text and Ask Z will turn it into an attached text file.
Review File Previews
After a file is uploaded or returned by Ask Z, review the preview before relying on the answer. Supported previews can include:- Images
- Documents
- PDFs
- Other uploaded files with available preview information
Use AI Studio Library
The Library page helps your team review files shared with Ask Z.- Open AI Studio.
- Go to Library.
- Use All, Images, or Files to filter the library.
- Use Search attachments… to find a specific file.
- Open a file to review its preview and details.
Share and Revoke Artifact Links
When an Ask Z artifact needs to be shared outside Z360, create a public link from the artifact’s sharing controls. Only share artifacts that are ready for external viewing. If access should end later, revoke the public link from the same sharing controls.Best Practices
- Wait for uploads to finish before sending the message.
- Tell Ask Z exactly what to do with each file.
- Remove unrelated attachments so Ask Z focuses on the right context.
- Review generated artifacts before sharing public links.
- Revoke public links when external access is no longer needed.
