Overview

Custom dashboards turn an Ask Z request into a saved view of your organization’s business data. Use them when you want to track a recurring question without rebuilding the request each time. You need permission to manage the organization’s AI agent to open Dashboards and manage saved dashboards.

Create a dashboard

  1. Open Dashboards from the Z360 sidebar.
  2. Click Create or Create with Ask Z.
  3. Tell Ask Z what you want to track. For example: “Create a dashboard showing this month’s inbound conversations, response activity, and open tickets.”
  4. Review the generated dashboard and its filters or actions.
  5. Ask Ask Z to save the dashboard when the layout and metrics are useful.
The dashboard is saved to the gallery with a title, description, and icon selected by Ask Z. If the gallery is empty, the page shows No dashboards yet and the Create with Ask Z action.

Choose dashboard visibility

When Ask Z saves a dashboard, choose whether it is Only you or Shared with organization. Use a private dashboard for personal analysis and an organization dashboard for a shared operating view. Review the visibility icon on each gallery card before sharing links or using the dashboard in team workflows.

Open, refresh, or edit a dashboard

  1. Open Dashboards and select a saved dashboard.
  2. Use Refresh when the underlying data should be loaded again.
  3. Use Edit with Ask Z to describe the change you want. Ask Z fetches the saved dashboard before proposing the update.
  4. Review the result and save the updated dashboard when it matches your needs.
If part of a dashboard cannot load, select Refresh first. If the problem continues, use Edit with Ask Z and ask it to repair the saved dashboard.

Delete a dashboard

Use the dashboard card’s action menu or the dashboard’s Delete control, then confirm the deletion. Deleting a saved dashboard cannot be undone.

Tips

  • Describe the business question, date range, and breakdowns you want to see.
  • Keep shared dashboards focused on a repeatable team decision.
  • Refresh a dashboard before relying on it for a current report.
  • Use the visibility indicator to confirm whether a dashboard is private or shared.
