Creating Contacts

Contact is not saving
  • Ensure required fields (like first name) are filled
  • Check for invalid email or phone formats
  • Refresh the page and try again
Profile image upload failed
  • Check file format (JPG, PNG, GIF only)
  • Make sure the file size isn’t unusually large
  • Try uploading a different image
Duplicate contact created
  • Z360 does not auto-merge contacts
  • Always search before creating a new contact
  • If duplicates exist, keep one and delete the other

Viewing & Navigation

Contacts list looks empty
  • Clear active filters
  • Check if you’re on a different page
  • Reset filters to default

Filtering & Sorting

Filters not showing expected results
  • Make sure the contact actually matches the filter
  • Click Apply Filters after selecting criteria
  • Reset filters and try again
Sorting order looks incorrect
  • Refresh the page
  • Reapply the sort option
  • Check if filters are affecting results

Contact Details & Activity

Tickets or conversations not appearing
  • Ensure they are linked to the same contact
  • Check filters inside each tab
  • Verify the correct contact is selected

Searching Contacts

Search returns no results
  • Check spelling
  • Try partial keywords instead of full values
  • Clear filters before searching

Editing & Deleting Contacts

Delete option is not visible
  • Ensure you have permission to delete contacts
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Confirm you are in the contact’s detail view
Deleted a contact by mistake
  • Deleted contacts cannot be recovered
  • You’ll need to recreate the contact manually

Best Practices for Contacts

  • Use tags consistently for better filtering
  • Keep contact details updated regularly
  • Favorite important contacts for quick access
  • Avoid duplicates by searching before creating
  • Add at least one communication method (email or phone)
  • Review contact activity before deleting
